TDR (Ticket Deposit Receipt) can be filed on Paytm soon after the chart has been prepared. To file TDR, follow the steps below:

• Go to "My Order"
• Locate the appropriate booking
• Open the booking
• Click on the “File TDR” option here, choose the traveller and the reason for filing TDR
• Lastly, click the “Submit” button

TDRs can be filed only after chart preparation when online cancellations would no longer be allowed and in cases where you have issues concerning your journey. Please note that there is an upper time limit for filing TDR.

With few minutes of filing TDR, you will receive an acknowledge message through email/SMS from Paytm. The TDR would in-turn be forwarded to Indian Railways via IRCTC.

If the TDR has been rejected by IRCTC, you will receive an SMS specifying the reason for rejecting TDR. Please note the filing of TDR on Paytm doesn’t guarantee the TDR is accepted by Indian Railways and that you would receive a refund.
