Go to the payments section on your Shopify dashboard

Log-in to Shopify, click on ‘Settings’ in the bottom right and Select ‘Payments’

Choose Paytm Payment Gateway from listed payment providers

Click on Additional Payment methods & search for Paytm Payment Gateway & click Activate

Integrate Paytm Payment Gateway

Click on connect & then on Install app. you will redirected to Paytm for business dashboard

Sign-up and enter details on the Paytm dashboard

Sign-up with your mobile number and provide your business details, PAN and bank details. Click ‘Proceed’.

FAQ’s for Intergration

Once I login to my Paytm dashboard I am unable to see the option to update my account or accept TnC.

Please ensure you use the same login that you had used while creating an MID for your Shopify store.
In case you have multiple MIDs linked to your Paytm account, please click on your account dropdown on the top right and select your Shopify linked MID.

I am unable to install Paytm Payment Gateway on Shopify or the option to activate Paytm Payment Gateway is not visible on my Shopify dashboard.

Please ensure your login to Shopify's dashboard has admin rights.

When I click on the link provided or on "Update Account" on Paytm dashboard, I am not seeing the option to "Add App" on Shopify's website. Instead I see that the app is already installed.

This is possibly the result of existing the update journey midway - in case you closed the browser or lost internet connection while trying to update your account. Please login to your Shopify dashboard and uninstall Paytm Payment Gateway from Payment Methods and retry updating your account from the beginning.

Even after I have completed the onboarding journey, I am being asked to update my account when I login to Paytm dashboard.

Please close the browser window, clear your cache and open a new window to login.

I have completed the update journey and now I see two Paytm options in payment methods or during checkout (PayTM PG & Paytm Payment Gateway).

The updated payment method is Paytm Payment Gateway - the one you just updated to. Shopify should be removing the older PayTM PG automatically after the deadline of 31st July, 22. However, you always have the option of disabling the older PayTM PG from your Shopify dashboard if you need to.
